Together-in-Motion is born and is a huge success!
I am really pleased to announce that I facilitated and hosted a really successful 1st Together-in-Motion - Contact Dance & Connection Evening on Saturday Nov 22nd 2025! Twenty beautiful souls came together in the lovely “Loft” in Upper Gardner Street, Brighton - we danced, we expressed, we shared our hearts, we did things we didnt normally do, we connected to new and old friends, we played, we relaxed and we had lots of fun!
I have been wanting to put something together like this for such a long time, to provide a comfortable cosy sober space for people to dance, meet and connect. Also I know some people feel shy and struggle to meet others, so I wanted to provide a space where I could get people feeling comfortable in their bodies, in themselves, in meeting and connecting with others through movement and contact.
This event is born through my 25years plus love affair with dancing freely, improvising, and connecting to others. I have been practising contact improvisation for over 8 years, 5 Rhythmns for over 25 years, Biodanza for a long long time and Nia for 12 years. Alongside that I have done various others trainings and endless workshops in ecstatic dance, Groove, Dancing Mindfulness, contemporary and much more!!!!
I loved seeing people express themselves freely, lightening up, playing around with their bodies, giving and receiving love and feeling that magical deep relaxation that comes when we rest in contact with others.
I learnt alot at this event about how to make it even better for next time in terms of my facilitation and also of things I could say and do that would be make it more enjoyable and relaxing for people.
